Built on an old and abandoned elevator rail tracks, the High Line spans 1 mile along the lower west side of Manhattan. Still on consturction, it currently runs from Gansevoort Street (3 blocks below West 14th St.) up to 30th St. The Park offers refreshing greenery and landscape and a fantastic view for the Hudson River and the surrounding neighborhood (Meat Packing district, Chelsea, and Hell’s Kitchen).
