The “5 Generations, One Port” tour is perfect for those who are tech-savvy. Visitors can use the free wi-fi in the neighborhood to download the app for their smartphones. In it are twelve clips of 2-3 minutes telling you the history of the Old Port of Montreal. Through the fictitious family story of a former port worker, you will discover what was happening on various quays of the Old Port in these past two centuries. The website also provides downloadable map of the area so you can print out and arm yourself with it prior to your visit.
