As a part of the World Trade Center redevelopment plan, there’s a site for 9/11 Memorial. The memorial honors the lives of those who were lost to the 9/11 event. The site occupies eight of the 16 acres at the World Trade Center. The names of every person who died on the 1993 WTC bombing and 2001 attack are inscribed in bronze around the twin memorial pools. Admission is now free and visitor passes are no longer required. While there, check out the 9/11 Museum.
