The African American Civil War Memorial and Museum preserve and tell the stories of the United States Colored Troops during the American Civil War. The memorial includes a walking area with curved walls inscribed with names of heroes from that era. The museum displays photographs, newspaper articles, and replicas of period clothing, uniforms and weaponry of the Civil War.
