Essentially, Barbican center, is a performing arts complex in London. However, what makes the estate interesting is its Brutalist architectural design style. To get to the Center of the Barbican Estate, visitors will go through confusing multi-level layout with multiple entrances and baffling walkways. The Center has been deemed “London’s ugliest building” as well as a designated site of special architectural interest for its scale, cohesion and ambition of the project.
