Since his death in 1924, Vladimir Lenin’s embalmed body has been on public display in his mausoleum. Situated in Red Square in the center of Moscow, Lenin’s Mausoleum is visited by many. Expect to wait in line and make sure you have deposited your camera and other electronic items in a nearby lockers in the State History museum beforehand. Entrance is free of charge but visitors will have to go through guard search.
