Founded in 1980, the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) is dedicated to preserving and presenting the history, heritage, culture and diverse experiences of people of Chinese descent in the United States. MOCA is located in the outskirt of NYC’s Chinatown. Despite being a small museum, the exhibition is highly interactive and innovative. Featuring some 160 years of Chinese American history, it delves into many topics including immigration, racial oppression, cultural blending and the successful stories of the newer Chinese American generations.
