New York World's FairFree: All time

The Unisphere is a 12-story high, spherical stainless steel globe located in Flushing Meadows – Corona Park in the borough of Queens, New York City. It is one of the borough’s most iconic and enduring symbols. Commissioned to celebrate the beginning of the space age, the Unisphere was conceived and constructed as the theme symbol of the 1964–1965 New York World’s Fair. Today, it’s become one of the offbeat landmarks to visit in NYC. Also in the park is the leftover of the Observatory Towers built for the World’s Fair. This space-age structure was featured in the final alien fight scene in the movie “Men in Black.” While there, consider checking out Queens Museum and New York Hall of Science.
