The Capitol is the meeting place of the U.S. Congress. Visitors can join the free guided tour of the building on a first -come first-served basis. (Mon-Sat 8:45am – 3:30pm). Tickets can also be booked in advance through the web or the phone number below. Besides the tour, visitors can also browse the galleries at the Capitol Visitor Center. For those who wants to experience even more can see Congress in action at the Senate and House Galleries when it’s in session (Mon-Fri 9am – 4:30pm). Passes are obtainable from the offices Senators and at the Capitol Visitor Center.
