South African Astronomical ObservatoryFree: Second and fourth Saturday of every month 8pm

South African Astronomical Observatory is open to public on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. Visitors are invited to join a 45-minute presentation on various space-related topics (check the official website for updated listing). The evening’s programme will also include an introduction to the historic McClean telescope and the observatory museu, as well as the observatory building itself. If the weather is clear, there will be a chance for everyone to look at something in the sky using the McClean and other telescopes set up for the night.
