A free private guided tour of New York City? Yup, that’s what Big Apple Greeter offers. It’s a non-profit, non-governmental organization hooking up visitors with greeters. Request for a guide 3-4 weeks in advance. The maximum group size is 6 people. The visit starts between 9am and 3pm and last for 2-4 hours. It’s a no-tipping tour but if you like your experience, you can donate to the project.
