“Make a Meal – Make a Friend,” so says the website Eat With A Local. Think Couchsurfing, but less invasive. Instead of sharing your “couch”, you’re sharing your food. Eat With A Local lets travellers and locals make new friends by sharing a meal together. As a local, you can offer to make a meal for people visiting your neck of the wood. As a traveller, you can ask a local if you can come round for a meal! All this niceness, for free 🙂
