The Farjam Collection is one of the most impressive privately-owned collections in the world today. The collection displayed here encompases Islamic, Middle Eastern and Western art. Its vast Islamic section spans the entire history of Islam, comprising a multitude of art forms from manuscripts on science, poetry and mathematics to textiles, metal works, painting, sculptures, etc. The Iranian founder, Farhad Farjam, had taken upon himself the effort to preserve and share these work with the public, for free.
