Frederiksberg might look as a part of Copenhagen to a traveller. But the municipality of Frederiksberg is actually an island inside the municipality of Copenhagen. The inhabitants of Frederiksberg have historically been richer than their neighbours around them. One of the main attraction in Frederiksberg is the garden. The Frederiksberg Garden is the most romantic, picture-perfect landscape with winding paths, woodlands, lawn, lakes as well as a royal palace. The area was once a summer palace for the Danish King Frederik IV in the 18th century. Other interesting structures you will find there include a Greek temple, a Chinese Pavillion, a Swiss Cottage, a labyrinth, etc.
