As the name suggests, Gas Work Park is a park with remnants of the former gas plant. It is easily the strangest park in Seattle, and may rank among the strangest in the world. Part of the plant was repurposed into a playbarn. There’s also a man-made kite-flying mound. The park site is right by the Lake Union, granting visitors a skyline view of Seattle’s Space Needle.
