Global Greeter Network is an informal association of Greeter programs around the world. Who exactly are “Greeters?” Greeters are volunteers that love their city so much that they volunteer to show visitors around for free. Think more “a new local friend” instead of a “professional guide.” This can the perfect way to experience a place in a local way; a chance to visit less well-known neighborhoods.
