Imperial War Museum LondonFree: All time

Imperial War Museums (IWM) is a British national museum organization with branches at five locations in England, three of which are in London. Out of the three (IWM London, IWM Belfast, and Churchill War Rooms), only IWM London is free of charge. The museum houses many exhibits, from all the tanks and airplanes, to a first person experience on being in trenches. Perhaps not for the faint-hearted, the Holocaust exhibition provides a silent and emotional journey for visitors. Originally only set to focus on the war effort and sacrifice on Britain and its empire during WWI, the museum now aims to provide for, and to encourage, the study and understanding of the history of modern war and “wartime experience.”
