Free: All time
James Joyce spent a number of years in Zurich and wrote the majority of Ulysses while living there. The foundation hosts two weekly readings from his most famous works, Ulysses and Finnegan’s Wake, on Tuesdays (5.30pm-7pm) and Thursdays (7pm-8.30pm) respectively. With two to three thousand visitors per year (counting the regular reading groups), the Foundation is an important stopping place for visitors to Zurich. It is open to anyone who is interested in learning something about James Joyce. Visitors are welcome to browse during the official opening hours and by appointment.
