Kalvebod Waves is an waterfront urban space in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. It’s located opposite of the Islands Brygge Havnebanet. Opened in 2013, the Kalvebod Waves consists of an undulating wooden boardwalk which creates various new spaces for sitting, promenading, skateboarding, as well as sunbathing.This addition has make the neighbourhood teeming with activities – a contrast to its originally desolate office and business-oriented atmosphere.
