The Monastiraki Flea Market is located in downtown Athens. While it’s open daily, Sundays are the best days to go. Wander through a maze a street vendors selling a jumble of curios: old books, paintings, second-hand clothes, souvenir trinkets, leather crafts and many more. There are many tavernas serving local food as well in the area, so it’s also good to plan for brunch there.
