The museum permanent collection contains artworks from the Middle Ages to the early 19th century. You can find works from artists around the world such as Hieronymus Bosch, Albrecht Dürer or Raphael. Some of the most important pieces are “Temptation of St. Anthony” from Bosch, the “Veneration of St. Vincent” or the Monstrance of Belem, a fine collection of decorative art and silverware from the first shipment of gold brought by Vasco da Gama.
