On top of the Warsaw University Library is one of Warsaw’s best kept secrets. A “secret garden” that spans an area of more than 100,000 square feet can be found on the roof of the building with nearly every inch of the space covered in greeneries. There are two tiers to the garden – and upper and a larger lower one – which are connected by a fountain of cascading water. This 14-year-old garden also offers a panoramic view of lower Warsaw along the river, the Copernicus Center and across the city to Centrum.
