The Topography of Terror is a permanent exhibition at the site where the headquarters of the Secret State Police – the SS – were located during the Third Reich. The exhibition documents the history of the institutions and the terror created during the Nazi reign. Through mostly photographic material and documents, visitors are led through the chronicle all the way from the beginning of the National Socialist’s takeover to the end of the war and postwar. Tours are also given in English free of charge on Sundays at 3:30pm.
