First launched in 1797,  the USS Constitution is the world’s oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat. Constitution is most famous for her actions during the War of 1812 against Great Britain when it defeated five British warships. Today, visitors can find a free, guided tours of the ship. Each guided tour, given by several active-duty Navy Sailors, takes you through the ship and explains its history and its crew. The tour runs every half-hour and runs for approximately half hour each. Visitors over 18 years old require a valid photo ID at the security prior to entry.
